STORM CLUSTER no.1

from £75.00

Collected from the beaches of Kent in the aftermath of a storm, this piece is part of a series documenting the unexpected beauty foudn where nature and human industry collide. Seaweed combined with discarded fishing materials and other washed-up matter, is transformed by the sea and into something quietly extraordinary.

Each piece was photographed exactly as found, then brought into the studio and carefully lit to reveal its form texture and complexity. What reads as abstract art reminds us of the battle between nature and the man-made, which in the right light can be beautiful.

Photographed by Lee Funnell as part of the Graphicphoto archive.

Limited edition prings available in A4, A3, and A2. Each print is produced using the Giclée process on premium Hahnemühle acid-free paper, platinum certified and archival quality. Made to order and dispatched within 1-2 weeks. A4 prints are sent flat boxed: A3 and A2 prints are rolled in a hard cardboard tube approx 50mm diameter.
